During non-COVID19 restrictions, the club does hold hunter safety, CFSC and CRFSC courses 
to get licensed in Ontario to hunt and to purchase/possess a firearm.

Unfortunately, this has been put on hold due to the current COVID19 restrictions that we have in place to protect the club and membership. No guests are allowed on club property during these restrictions.

The Ontario hunter safety course is available online right now due to COVID19 restrictions.

Please note:

As Stage 3 comes into effect and the range re-opens, please be mindful of the need to physical distance in the range building. Consider using the products provided to clean/disinfect all surfaces you may contact.

Should one find it difficult to maintain proper distances, please wear a mask.

One may notice various articles in front of the shooting windows. Kindly work around these components. They are remnants from sound mitigation experiments and will be dealt with at a later date.

Please take the time to review ALL range protocols and follow them diligently. Safety makes for an enjoyable environment for everyone.

Please ensure all range rules are followed and adhered to - a safe environment is the responsibility of every member.

   

Practice cleanliness, good safety and please respect all range rules.

Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary is now available online

Due to unforeseen circumstances the printing and distribution of the 2020 Hunting Regulations Summary has been delayed. The summaries are expected to be delivered to operating licence issuers and ServiceOntario locations in August. 

The MNRF encourages you to review the Regulations Summary digitally at Ontario.ca/huntingregulations.

Update to Coyote and Wolf hunting during Big Game Season

As noted on the Ontario Hunting Regulations Summary; hunters are no longer restricted from using a centre-fire rifle or shells loaded with ball or shot larger than number two shot when hunting wolf and coyote during an open season for big game.
